Vrådal Panorama Ski Centre

At Vrådal Panorama Ski Centre, which is one of the largest in the county of Telemark, you will find 5 lifts with a lift capacity of 6,000 people per hour.

There are 15 slopes, the longest is 3,6 kilometres long with a vertical drop of 473 metres. Here you will also find a dedicated area for children, located next to the chair lift.

The ski centre normally opens at the beginning of December and closes at the end of April.

There is a café and shop where you can hire cross-country, Telemark and slalom skis, snowboards and snowshoes. The popular ski school offers a range of skiing lessons.

Snowshoeing

Walking with snowshoes is easy to learn and the terrain in Vrådal is ideal for making long or short trips on slopes in the forest or above the timber line.

Cross-country skiing

Cross-country skiing has long traditions in Telemark. In Vrådal there are 35 kilometres of prepared cross-country tracks in the mountains, in the valleys, over fields, in the forests and on safe ice.

Winter without skis

The Quality Straand Hotel & Resort offers sleigh rides several times a week. Join in on an evocative ride, accompanied by torches and sleigh bells.

Dining and nightlife

Eidstostoga is a café in the centre of Vrådal serving pizza, simple dishes and home-made cakes. There is also a café, restaurant and bar at the ski centre.
Quality Straand Hotel & Resort has its own piano bar, open six days a week and with live music. This is the place to go for après ski. The hotel's restaurant serves everything from daily specials to gourmet dinners.
