Moose safari in Rauland
Join our guide and driver on a minibus safari at dusk to see the King of the Forest – the moose! Moose has been important for Norwegians since it first arrived here after the last ice age. It has been an important part of our food chain, and lately as a social gathering point around hunting. Our biggest moose in 2,3 metres tall, weigh 500 kg and they can become 20 years old. Moose are active during the day, but they are easiest to spot in the dusk and dawn.
