Beitostølen's location at 900 metres above sea level usually guarantees a white winter. The skiing season normally lasts from November to the end of April.

Beitostølen consists of two large ski areas, a six-person express chair lift, mogul slopes, off-piste slopes and 320 kilometres of beautiful cross-country trails.

The skiing facilities are situated right in the middle of Beitostølen with its highest peak reaching 1,100 metres above sea level, and ski passes are valid on both sides of the valley.

The town centre offers gourmet restaurants, cafés, pubs, after ski and several hotels.
