This is a mountain road between Lesja and Vågå. The road is bumpy and rough on a 32-kilometre stretch, and there are some very steep sections on both sides whilst the middle part is flatter. The highest point of the road is 1,200 metres above sea level.
The path works its way through the forests with rivers, open water and cabins along the way. The pathway is 10 kilometres long and has information posts to tell you about the mountain folk and their history.
Follow the E136 to Aurstad, just past Lesja if coming from Bjorli. Take the exit leading to Dalsida and Ausjøen. The path starts approximately 13 kilometres from the main road.
Take the exit from the E136 in Lora, marked with the sign "Lordalen" and "Skytebane". Here you will find old dairies that welcome visitors.
At the end of the valley you will reach Nysetra. If you go on the left side of the small stream coming down from the Lesja side, you will find leftovers from old capture graves from the Middle Age.
