The Gjøvik region offers more than 1,500 kilometres of prepared ski trails in different kinds of terrains, from forests to mountains, a 100 kilometre network of connected floodlit trails, ski centres, ski jumps and skating rinks.

There are also a number of activity centres offering tobogganing, a warming drink in the forest, something to eat in old farm buildings or in the fresh air – or you could sit by a hole on one of the many frozen lakes and try catching a perch or two.
