Lake Mjøsa is open all year round for fishing and no license is required. There are also excellent fishing opportunities in lakes and rivers throughout the area. Ice fishing is popular in the winter.

TrollingAdventure offers guiding with knowledge of nature. Trolling is fishing with spinning bait from a boat equipped with the latest in technical fishing gear. TrollingAdventure was founded by professional fisheries biologists and they can ensure guides with knowledge of nature and fishing techniques on your request.

Between 31 July and 16 Agust 2009 you can bring your skates with you to Vikingskipet (The Viking Ship) in Hamar and go speed skating on summer ice.

Sjusjøen Fritid and Sjusøen Sport specialises in nature based activities for groups and individuals at Sjusjøen. Malungen Opplevelser offers beaver safaris, canoeing, waterfall climbing and more.
