By train

Take the train from Oslo to Mysen. It will stop at Tomter, Spydeberg, Askim and Mysen, in addition to smaller stations if needed. The travel time is approximately 55 minutes to Askim and 1 hour and 5 minutes to Mysen. For timetables, please contact the Norwegian State Railways (NSB).

By bus

Timeekspressen departs from Oslo every hour. The last stop is either Mysen, Ørje or Töcksfors, depending on the time of day. Traveltime from Oslo to Askim is approximately 55 minutes. 

Within the region there are several local busses.

By car

From Oslo, follow the E18 signs towards Stockholm. From Sarpsborg follow rv. 111.

By aeroplane

There are several direct flights between Moss Airport Rygge and destinations in Europe.

There are no regular buss connections from the airport to Indre Østfold, but from Oslo or Sarpsborg you will find busses that will take you further to Indre Østfold.
