One of the greates attractions in the region is the swimming complex Østfoldbadet in Askim. Here you can enjoy slides, wave machines, a children's pool and much more.
Indre Østfold has two golf courses. Askim Golf has two nine-hole courses. One of them is a "pay and play" course – you do not need a green card. Very suiteable for families. In Spydeberg you will find Mørk Golf, they have a 18-hole forest and park course, a 9-hole midsize course and one 6-hole course for children.
In the region there are three motor sports centres including Rudskogen Motorpark, where you can watch motorcycle and car races and drive yourself.
In Askim you will find mines where you can climb and abseil. Right outside Mysen, in Trømborg, Mysen Putball and Paintball Park is situated.
If you are looking for some more tranquil activities there are several places where you can hire a canoe.
