Skiing

Jotunheimen offers good conditions for skiing both on and off prepared tracks. If you are one of those who like to explore the world off the established tracks, then the whole of Jotunheimen and the Strynefjellet Mountains offer an ocean of opportunities.

High peaks

For those who like to get up to a high altitude and enjoy the views, these areas offer a range of mountain expeditions suitable for skiing.

The snow stays long into the spring, making this a particularly good time for off-piste skiing.

Winter without skis

If you are not so keen on skiing, Jotunheimen also offers other exciting activities such as ice canyoning, ice climbing, snowshoe walking and wonderful walks under a fantastic night sky.
