Trysil offers cafés, coffee bars, pizzerias, restaurants and pubs. 

In the Trysil centre there are several restaurants and eateries open all year. Norlandia Trysil Hotel has dinner service from an exclusive a la carte menu. The food is prepared from local produce.

Places to eat during winter

During the winter time, you can reach 21 places to eat on skis.

At Fjellroa in Fageråsen you will find the Austrian inspired Skipaviljongen in the middle of the slope. Enjoy your lunch or coffee inside the cosy pavilion or outside in the sun.

At Skihytta, a fantastic ski area high up in the mountain, the restaurant serves delicious dishes and specialities.

Knettsetra lies in the heart of Trysilfjellet, and consists of three different places to eat. Here you can enjoy a varied lunch, waffles or fondue. There is also a pub with live music, and outdoor concerts throughout the winter.

Several of the restaurants at both Trysil Turistsenter and Trysil Høyfjellssenter offer après-ski, family après-ski and nightclubs. Restaurant Laaven 1790 at Trysil Turistsenter is one of the hottest après-ski places in Norway. The new Radisson SAS Resort Trysil has several restaurants and bars.

On beautiful summer days you can enjoy your meal outdoors at many of the eating places.

Knettsetra at Trysilfjellet is originally an old mountain farm, and in the summer you can experience the pasture idyll with traditional Norwegian food here. You can see rabbits, lambs and chickens in the yard.
