A peaceful drive along the valley and Rondane National Tourist Route (rv. 27) between Enden and Folldal is an excellent alternative to the main routes through Gudbrandsdalen and Østerdalen. In-between the towering mountains, Rondane can offer wilderness, as well as vast plains and idyllic valleys.

This is the name of the 250-kilometre-long cycle route around Mjøsa, Norway’s largest lake. Hamar, Lillehammer and Gjøvik are all towns situated beside Mjøsa. The cycle route is well-signposted, and the roads are a combination of gravel and tarmac.

A range of interesting sights and tourist attractions are available around Mjøsa, and these are all marked and described on maps. Bicycle maps for Mjøstråkk can be bought at the tourist offices.
