By bus

Fjord1 coaches go regular to and from Flåm out trough the districts; most of the coaches connect with the trains and the scheduled buses stops next to the train station. 

Nor-Way Bussekspress takes you all the way from Flåm to Oslo or Bergen; they run between four and six times a day to/from Flåm.

By train

Flåm Station is situated in the middle of Flam, and it is easy to go to Bergen or Oslo from here. The Flåm Railway runs between eight and ten times a day in the summer from May until October, and four times a day in the winter season.  The Flåm Railway connects in Myrdal with most trains on the Bergen Railway, running between Oslo and Bergen.

By plane

The nearest airport is Sogndal Airport Haukåsen, approximately 70 kilometres from Flåm. From Sogndal there are daily arrivals and departures with Widerøe to/from both Oslo and Bergen. Flight time approximately 50 minutes.

By boat

Fjord1 Fylkesbaatane operates most of the scheduled boats and car ferries in the Sognefjord area. There is an express boat service between Flåm and Balestrand/Bergen from the beginning of May until the end of September.

Scheduled passenger ferries on the UNESCO protected Nærøyfjord between Flåm/Aurland and Gudvangen all year.
