Voss is a regional centre serving the inner areas of the county of Hordaland, with shops and services for the needs of both local people and visitors.
In the town centre of Voss you will find several shops in connection to the main shopping street, Vangsgata. If you follow Uttrågata, that runs in parallel to Vangsgata, through the traffic lights and across Langabrua, you will find the shopping centre Amfi Voss. Altogether this provides tourists and locals with a good variety for shopping, including clothing, gold- and silversmiths, sports shops and supermarkets.

One special shop to mention is Voss' very own Kari Traa Shop, located in the heart of the town centre. Kari Traa is a retired mogul skier from Voss, with merits such as Olympic and World Championship medals. In Kari Traa AS she has merged two of her big interests – sport and creativity – and made a sporty, daring and cheerful clothing line.
