This is a world-famous round trip taking you through some of the most beautiful scenery in Western Norway. The tour includes a journey on the popular Flåm Railway, a cruise on the Nærøyfjord and a bus journey through the beautiful Nærøydalen Valley via Stalheimskleiva to Voss. The Nærøyfjord and Nærøydalen were in 2005 featured on UNESCO's World Heritage List. The round trip Norway in a nutshell® can be taken in either direction all year round.

Facts about the tour

• Organisation: You will travel individually, following the timetables provided. If you have any enquiries during the tour, a member of staff on the bus, boat and train will be able to assist you. In Flåm there is a tourist information office.
• Departure: Reccommended departure at 8:30 am by train or at 10 am by bus from Voss Station.
• Return: To Voss at 4:50 pm or 6:14 pm
• Prices 2008: Adults NOK 595, children NOK 298
• Booking: Tickets can be purchased from Voss Tourist Information or Voss Station when arriving in Voss. Please note that pre-booking is not necessary, tickets can be purchased on the day of travel.

Explore the Hardangerfjord

Where: Voss - Ulvik - Eidjford - Ulvik - Voss

In the period 1 May to 30 September, you can enjoy a day tour to Hardanger. The tour departs by bus from Voss, taking you to Ulvik and continues by boat from Ulvik to Eidfjord. In Eidfjord you may join a three-hour sightseeing trip, which includes the Hardangervidda Nature Centre and a bus tour to Fossli with a magnificent view of the mighty waterfall Vøringsfossen. Tickets for the sightseeing can be purchased on the boat. From Eidfjord, you will return taking the boat back to Ulvik and bus to Voss.

• Return: To Voss at 4:30
• Price*: Adults NOK 300, children/senior citizens NOK 250
  * sightseeing in Eidfjord not included
