Rauland is a cosy mountain village with approximately 1,000 inhabitants. In the village centre you will find all the services you need: Bank, grocery shops, sport shop, flower shop, hairdresser, post office, clothes and souvenir shop, gift and interior shop, mountain cabin accommodation service, restaurant, café, petrol station, doctor, dentist and of course the tourist information office.
Unique local products, for example food and wooden handicrafts, are sold many places across the region.
