If you want to buy a takeaway lunch, you should visit the bakery at Tonstad.

During the summer the most spectacular place to eat is the Eagle's Nest Restaurant.

For groups wanting to sample traditional food from Sirdal, should contact Sirdal Tradisjonsmat. The Norwegian national biathlon team's chef, Torbjørg Haugen, is the head of the company, and most of the ingredients she uses is collected in Sirdal's nature by herself.

The Eagle's Nest Restaurant

The Eagle's Nest Restaurant at Øygardstøl is attached to the steep mountain walls above the Lysefjord. From here you can enjoy the panorama view of the Lysefjord, the 27 hairpin bends that leads to Lysebotn, as well as the township of Lysebotn. Øygardstøl is the starting point for the hike to Kjerag. Note: The restaurant is only open during the summer season.
