Hotels and guesthouses

A number of excellent hotels are available, most of them in the larger towns. Scattered about the region you will also find a vast selection of guesthouses which offer bed & breakfast in nice surroundings.

Cabins

Sørlandet has been Norway’s summer holiday paradise for a long, long time, and a lot of people have cabins and holiday houses here. Many of these are rented out, some privately, but most through larger companies.

Camping

Sørlandet has a number of excellent camp sites, both along the coast and in the inland. The camp sites normally offer accommodation in cabins in addition to camping in tents, caravans and mobile homes.

Holiday complexes

Larger holiday complexes are quite normal in Sørlandet, especially along the coast. The holiday complexes are also suitable for families with children, and are often quite close to one of the larger towns or villages.
