By boat and ferry

By bus

There is also a well-developed local bus service in the districts and to/from the airports in Stord, Haugesund and Bergen.
By seaplane
In Sunnhordland you will find the biggest seaplane company in Northern Europe - Fonnafly. Fonnafly operates seven Cessna seaplanes. The planes are based in different locations around Western and Eastern Norway. The company also has three helicopters available for transporting tourists.
The planes can also be used for unique sightseeing trips in Hardanger and over the Folgefonna Glacier.
Stord Airport
In Sunnhordland you will find the regional airport on the island of Stord. The airport is being operated both on a regular scheduled basis and for charter operations.
Being situated on Stord, the airport makes it easy for tourists to reach the whole region of Sunnhordland in a comfortable way.
