Fløibanen is a funicular cable car that takes you 320 metres above sea level. In just a few minutes you find yourself on top of a mountain with a perfect view of the city and its surroundings. You have not seen Bergen before you have taken Fløibanen.

And there is more: Fløien is a perfect place for relaxation and creation, and a good place for hiking. You can choose between numerous paths in the woodland terrain with lakes and mountains. Fløien has a restaurant with a nice playground for children.

The funicular departs from the city centre – walking distance from the Fish Market. Fløibanen operates every 15 minutes and more frequently when it is busy.

Seat reservations are not necessary.
