Strand Hotel Fevik is more than a hotel. Since 1937 the place has appeared as an exotic refuge with the sea and soft sand dunes waiting just outside your door

The hotel has a rich history and is one of the few remaining functionalist style buildings in Norway. Several famous people have visited the hotel. The author Roald Dahl was a patron for more than 30 years, together with his Oscar-awarded wife Patricia Neal.

Strand Hotel Fevik is one of the few hotels in Norway with a beach of its own. Set in the beautiful skerries, guests have the opportunity to take part in activities like beach volley, sea fishing, diving and boat trips. Near the hotel you will also find a golf course, as well as a bowling and go-cart centre.

Location

Strand Hotel Fevik is located in Fevik, close to one of the most beautiful beaches in Southern Norway, between the two idyllic towns of Arendal and Grimstad. Fevik is seven kilometres from Grimstad and twelve from Arendal.

Fevik has good bus connections, both to Oslo and Kristiansand, with numerous daily departures. Kristiansand Airport Kjevik is only about 45 minutes away by car. Guests who arrive by plane to Kristiansand can also take the airport bus from the airport to Fevik.

There are also good bus connections to Sandefjord Airport Torp. The trip from Torp to Fevik takes about three hours.

The nearest railway station is in Arendal, and it has good connections both to Oslo and Stavanger.
