Norwegian Petroleum Museum

The Norwegian Petroleum Museum can accommodate conferences for up to 80 people in modern, well-equipped rooms. The museum is also ideal for organisers who wish to arrange a reception in unusual surroundings. Bølgen & Moi, one of Stavanger's best restaurants, can be found at the pier of the Norwegian Petroleum Museum.

The Utstein Monastery

Utstein Monastery is Norway's only well-preserved medieval monastery. Today it is run as a museum and conference centre. Concerts are also held there.

The buildings were originally intended as a royal residence but an Augustinian monastery was founded there in around 1265. After the reformation in 1537, the monastery and its property were returned to the crown and it subsequently came into private ownership. The property has been in public ownership since 1935. The cultural landscape around the monastery is protected by law.

Hall Toll

Recently renovated from the old toll (customs) building, Hall Toll is a restaurant, bar, club and a conference facility. Hall Toll can seat 350 people. Close to  Hall Toll, Skansegaten can offer meeting rooms for two to 40 participants. Hall Toll is located at the edge of the main harbour, Vågen, in central Stavanger.

The Gloppehallen

Gloppehallen is a 950-square metre hall carved out in the mountain. The atmosphere is magical and up to 1,000 people can be catered for. Near the Gloppehall the restaurant Ovalen is located in another cavern (430 square metres). Ovalen has got space for up to 300 people.

The driving time from Stavanger is approximately one hour. The owner and operator of the hall is Byrkjedalstunet, a hotel with conference facilities.

Ramsvig trading house

The 200 year-old trading house in Ramsvig offers Norwegian culture and tradition. Several outdoor activities can be arranged there and guests can be introduced to regional produce. It has three meeting rooms and can seat 150 people. Transport to Ramsvig is one hour by boat from Stavanger.

Preikestolen Mountain Lodge

Preikestolen Mountain Lodge was built to make it easier for walkers to conquer the Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock). The architecture is innovative and creative, future-oriented, environmentally friendly and universal. The building is already widely known in big parts of Europe.  The lodge offers 28 guest rooms and conference facilities. A base camp offers challenging outdoor activities.
