Listings:

Stavanger Forum is one of Norway’s few conference and exhibition centres and is able to offer 30 meeting rooms with capacities from 10 to 5,000 people. It has roughly 15,000 square metres of stand space. The largest plenary hall can be split into three smaller auditoria and can accommodate 864 people for a banquet with long tables.

Combined with its 690 square metre indoor plaza, there is plenty of opportunity to stage large and more demanding events within the centre. The Rica Forum Hotel, with 182 rooms, is part of the same complex as the conference centre, and it also cooperates with all the other hotels in the region.

Stavanger Forum has five multi-purpose halls on-site. The largest is able to accommodate 5,000 people in theatre-style for congresses, whereas others can accommodate 3,000 people for concerts and 1,500 for banquets. This helps make Stavanger Forum the perfect venue for a wide range of large events.

Experienced staff

Both the conference centre and the halls can be tailored to suit most requirements including small tabletop exhibitions, large international trade fairs, banquets and concerts. Stavanger Forum has its own in-house international professional congress organiser (PCO). Experienced staff serve as an adviser, partner and coordinator, helping clients with all practical details before, during and after a congress. Stavanger Forum welcomes other PCO’s to utilise the centre for their events.

Social activities

Stavanger is situated on the edge of the fjords and offers an excellent diversity of outdoor and social activities. As the oil capital of Norway, the city has also assumed a cosmopolitan character.

Local food

The food served at Stavanger Forum plays an important part in the overall event and its chefs offer specially tailored menus to meet your budget, wishes and needs. They like to use local ingredients produced close to Stavanger, like salmon from Suldal, lamb from Kvitsøy, tomatoes from Finnøy and strawberries from Fister.

Up-to-date technological equipment

The forum is proud of its technical department, which has a full- time staff of six.  The centre's technical equipment is continuously updated, and it has a number of professional sub-contractors as its partners. This allows the centre to deliver the most up-to-date technological equipment for conferences and exhibitions in line with your specifications.

It can help you with

As Stavanger’s only professional congress organiser (PCO), it has organised and hosted a number of national and international events. Staff can assist in designing exhibition, conference and banquet layouts in AutoCad and will be more than happy to quote on providing technical support for such events. The forum's production department will also give advice and guidance on selecting the right technical equipment to meet your requirements.
