Description

Øyfjell Village museum has a rich collection of tools, traditional dress and costumes, fine examples of rose painting and a whole assortment of odds and ends. You can also view Norway’s largest “beer hen” – to find out exactly what that is then visit the museum!
The building itself is very special – built in granite in 1931 this construction is made to withstand the tests of time. The Museum is set amongst a cluster of farm buildings including an outhouse, bellows, hay barn, loft, sauna and a small mill.
