Strand Mountain Lodge

This cosy mountain lodge has 18 rooms and 1 appartement. Most of the rooms have logg walls, just like it should be in a mountain lodge. All the rooms have shower and toilet.

The lodge also have a TV-corner, lounge with a fireplace and a small library and wifi internet that covers the inside as well as the immediate area outside. We have a few singlerooms, doublerooms and rooms with 3, 4 and 5 beds. In addition, in the summer we rent out a smaller logghouse with 4 beds. That gives a total bed count on 49 beds. We also have contact with several cabin owners that wish to rent out their cabins, and we are more than happy to provide this service for you. We serve genuine Thai cuisine as well as Norwegian.

Espedalen has many monuments of the nickel works in the period from 1830 to1895, and guided trips into this part of our history can be arranged. Excellent opportunities for hiking. The largest potholes in Northern Europe are nearby. Fishing, biking, canoeing.
