Olashei - coniferous forest reserve and hiking area

Description

Olashei is located within Møglestu recreation area as a popular hiking destination. The area is protected as a coniferous forest reserve where one can find old coastal pine forest (250 to 300 years old) that are little affected by logging and other development. The hike is trough uplands, marshes and numerous small lakes with great opportunity to see beavers and other wildlife species.
