Description

Fossanmoen, Forsand in Ryfylke, is the site of extensive remains from the Landa village, a remarkable and unique chapter in Norwegian history. Our ancestors lived here continuously for 2000 years, from about 1500 BC to AD 600. Reconstruction aims to recreate something of the atmosphere that prevailed 3000 years ago. The first building, a Bronze Age house, was displayed in 1995. See history come alive! Participate in fascinating activities in this reconstructed village. Pet our friendly animals. Landa is a great park for the entire family!

New in 2013: spend the night in Landa Park on our family friendly campsite. Here you can also spend a cosy night in a small cabin with its own mini-garden.

Landa is also a point of interest in the Ryfylke Multiguide, a free app for your smartphone
