Description

Hov in Lofoten is one of the best places to observe the northern lights and the arctic light conditions. You have a clear view of the ocean and the northern sky where the northern lights first appear, and there is little or no artificial light on the ground to disturb your experience. The area is ideal for walks through gently rolling countryside, by the sea on white beaches, or along hiking trails. The mild winter also makes it more pleasant to stay outdoors for longer periods of time when observing the light conditions. Make your own way along the shore or up to the summit of Mount Hoven (370 m above sea level), and a magnificent view in all directions.

We offer accommodation, local cusine, winter activities, storytelling about the Northern Lights.
