Description

Gygrestolen is a unique rock formation and a well-known landmark around Bø. The trail up to it is steep and difficult with an altitude difference of 350 m. 8 km from Bø town centre direction Lunde you park your car and start the 7,5 kilometer long hike. From Gygrestolen you will get a wonderful view over the Bø area. At the top it is also possible to take a swim at the small lake Venetjønn. 

Gygrestolen is also a great place for experienced climbers.

Length: 7,5 km (allow ca 3 hours walking)
Terrain: Moderate to challenging.  
Accessible: April - October

Package includes:
1 night in a 4-bedded cabin at Beverøya Camping during the period June, July, August.
