Description

The lodge Preikestolen fjellstue is situated idyllically in the Ryfylke moorlands, overlooking the Refsvatn lake.

The new mountain lodge was opened in 2009 and offers hotel quality accomodation. Close by lie the original Preikestolhytta that was erected in 1949 and the old mountain cottage Vatne, now restored for accomodation. These cabins serve as a hostel.

Preikestolen fjellstue is well-known for its excellent kitchen. Local and seasons' ingredients are in focus. We do our utmost to give you a tasty culinary experience after a day of meetings or a hike to the Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock). You can also try our hot tub and we have put up a big laptent where you can gather around the fireplace.

There are several marked hiking paths in the vicinity, like the path to Preikestolen, Veslebu, Moslifjellet and Gryteknuten. Or take your children on a leisurely walk to a big wooden troll! The nearby lake has a sandy beach and is great for swimming and trout fishing.

Want to experience something special with your group? Visit one of our three basecamps!
