Description

Already several hundred years ago, Hå old vicarage served as the residence of a senior civil servant, a vicarage, an administrative and cultural centre.

Today it is an art and cultural centre with permanent as well as temporary exhibitions. Commission sales. Concerts, literature readings and theme events. Small café. Right next to the vicarage are remains of a settlement dating back 8200 years, one of the houses presents its story. Due north of the vicarage is a large grave site from approx. 500 AD, with burial mounds of various shapes and sizes. Glass beads and weapons have been found here.
