Description

"A song about life". Sculptor Fritz Røed (1928-2002) planned the sculpture park as a song where one verse takes the next by the hand and leads you through themes such as freedom, caring, joy, peace, war, hope and the zest for life. The park consists of ten sculptures that are quite varied in terms of style and size. Here you'll find humour, solemnity, childlike playfulness and reflection. The sculptor shares with us his love of the simple as well as the dynamic things in life, and leaves us the viewers plenty of room for our own interpretations.
