Description

An hour’s drive from Haugesund brings you to the Etnefjellet MountainswhereHaugesundTuristforeninghasseveralcabins. The area consists of varied, easily accessible terrain with lush valleys and summits of up to 1400 metres. What about starting at Langfoss Waterfall? From here you can follow the T-marked track through steep landscape up to Langfosstølen. Further on by Vaulevatnet Lake you will come to a track that runs between Simlebu and Sandvass cabins. Access: from highway E134 from Haugesund. The Haukeliekspressen bus has several daily departures from Haugesund. Degree of difficulty and duration depends upon the track chosen. Haugesund Turist- forening has plenty of good tips about the suitability of tracks.
