Description

A guided trip by buss to Pasvik valley. The valley is one of the last wilderness areas in Europe and known for its big brown bear population. You get both, a nice nature experience and information about the interesting history of this area right beside Russia. We follow the Pasvik river (border river to Russia) all the way to Svanvik. Visit in the National Park Centre which provides information about fauna and flora. Next stop is "Bjørkelund Gård" where we will be taken 150 years back in time. We serve coffee/tea and cookies before returning to Kirkenes.
Can be combined with a river boat trip on the Pasvik river (KS 17).
