Ringerikes Museum is the regional museum for the municipalities of Hole and Ringerike in Buskerud county.     
Ringerikes Museum is important both locally and nationally. It was here the rector’s wife Anne Colbjørnsdatter defeated the Swedes in 1716 and here the famous writer duo Asbjørnsen and Moe met.  On the first floor there is a wing dedicated the local resistance during the Second World War. In the cellar there is a unique collection of icons collected by a local artist on his travels east. The museum is also the location of the county’s photo archive.
