Nordre Lindeberg farm is open all year and has horses, pigs, sheep, goats, chickens, rabbits, dogs and cats. There is also a café which is open every day except Saturdays.
Bogstad Manor is open all year. In the summer you can see all the animals outside: Sheep, horses, cows, pigs, rabbits and hens.
Norwegian farms include everything from small mountain farms to large flatland enterprises. Even the smallest kind of farm will often take you as a guest if you ask. Why not stay overnight at a farm? Some mountain farms even hold courses where you can try your hand as an old-fashioned milkmaid.
