Take the train from Oslo Central Station (Oslo S) to Mysen. It will stop at Tomter, Spydeberg, Askim and Mysen, in addition to smaller stations if needed. The travel time is approximately 55 minutes to Askim and one hour and five minutes to Mysen. For timetables, please contact the Norwegian State Railways (NSB).
TIMEkspressen departs from Oslo every hour. The last stop is either Mysen, Ørje or Töcksfors in Sweden, depending on the time of day. Travel time from Oslo to Askim is approximately 55 minutes.
Within Indre Østold there are several local buses.
From Oslo, follow the E18 signs towards Stockholm. From Sarpsborg follow rv. 111 towards Rakkestad.
There are several direct flights between Moss Airport Rygge and destinations in Europe, operated by Norwegian and Ryanair. Gardermoen, Oslo's main airport, is another option, with routes to many world-wide destinations.
There are no regular bus connections from either airport to Indre Østfold, but from Oslo or Sarpsborg you will find buses that will take you further to Indre Østfold.
