Tourist information in Oslo

The tourist information centres know Oslo and are always ready to answer questions and help you with sightseeing, accommodation and currency exchange.

The experienced staff is available 365 days a year to help you with information in several languages. They know the city and will do all they can to make your visit eventful and exciting.

The centres have all the guide books, brochures and maps you need to find your way in Oslo (see also online map of Oslo). In addition, they offer currency exchange, the Oslo Pass and tickets for sightseeing and fjord excursions. A selection of quality souvenirs from Oslo and Norway are also available.

The tourist information centers can also help you book hotel accommodation and the Oslo Package. Most of Oslo's hotels are located less than a five-minute walk from a tourist information centre.

The tourist information centre at Trafikanten

This centre is located in the Trafikanten Service Center in front of Oslo Central Station (Oslo S). It is open 365 days a year.

In addition to booking hotels and tours, this centre can help you with private accommodation, depending on availability.

You can also pick up brochures from selected destinations in Oslo at this center. If you are leaving Norway by train or bus, you can get your tax free refund here.

The tourist information centre by the City Hall

This centre is located in Roald Amundsens gate, between Karl Johans gate and City Hall. It is open seven days a week in June, July and August. In April, May and September it is open on weekdays and Saturdays, and from October to March it is open on weekdays only.

In addition to all its brochures on Oslo, this centre provides pamphlets from selected destinations in other parts of Norway.

There is also a tourist information centre at Oslo Cruise Terminal, which is only open when cruise ships are docked in Oslo. The centre is a place for cruise passengers to get information, purchase the Oslo Pass and exchange currency.
