The Nærøyfjord

This arm of the Sognefjord is included on UNESCO's World Heritage List. The Nærøyfjord is less than 250 metres wide at its narrowest, surrounded by steep mountains that tower 1,500 metres above the riverbank.

Folgefonna National Park

Wild mountain streams merge with deep green glacial lakes between majestic mountains and idyllic fjords. A hike on the Folgefonna Glacier (the third largest glacier in Norway) offers breathtaking views of the Hardangerfjord.

Vøringsfossen Waterfall

Vøringsfossen dazzles tourists with its multiple waterfalls all converging at the head of Måbødalen in Hardanger. Vøringsfossen is Norway's most famous waterfall, and has a fall of 182 metres, of which 145 metres is a direct drop.

The Flåm Railway

One of Norway's most popular attractions is The Flåm Railway. It winds its way from Myrdal down to Flåm and the Aurlandsfjord some 865 metres below, passing thundering waterfalls and snow-capped mountains on the way.
