Shopping in the Stavanger Region

The Stavanger Region offers a range of shopping opportunities from big shopping centres to charming city shops, niche boutiques and factory outlets.

The city centres of Stavanger, Sandnes and Bryne have both shopping centres and charming streets with speciality shops such as Oleana, Stavanger Glassblåseri (glass blowing studio) and MingarWalker Glass, as well as Sjokoladepiken  (handmade chocolate).

In Glasstudio Jæren you will find handmade works of fused glass, while Værktøy AS is a shop specialising in woodturning, woodcarving and woodcrafts. In Sandnes you will also find shops producing traditional pottery.

The largest shopping centres in the region are Kvadrat in Sandnes, with 160 stores and 18 restaurants, and M44® Shopping Centre, located in Bryne, Jæren.

Gjestal AS in Gjesdal is an outlet selling yarn, sweaters and candles. They have their own restaurant on the premises. Nearby is Byrkjedalstunet. They sell candles, art, interior decoration and souvenirs made of wood, rock and wool.
