Vossafår
Vossafår is a type of sausage which is cut in thin slices and used in sandwiches. It can be purchased in supermarkets throughout Norway.

Smalahove
From early days lamb has been important for Norwegian farmers. Smalahove, is the smoked head of a lamb and the dish has long traditions in Voss. In early days smalahove was used for an everyday meal, however, in recent years it has been much used in connection with festive occasions. Every autumn an event called "Smalahovesleppet" takes place in Voss, celebrating the smalahove tradition.

Fenalår
Cured and seasoned leg of a lamb. This is a traditional Norwegian type of meat, and is produced throughout Norway and can be purchased in the supermarkets – as ready cut sandwich meat or even as the full leg. If you wish to find the local taste, look for the name "Voss" on the products.
