The North Cape - at the top of Europe

The 307 metre- (1,007 ft) high North Cape cliff is the nearest accessible location to Europe's northernmost point, and is a destination for all travellers. Take a trip to the North Cape in summer to see the midnight sun, or drive in convoy in winter behind a snow plough. 

Rock carvings in Alta 

Alta boasts 6,000 rock carvings of swimming deer and elk, bear hunting and vessels fishing halibut, all dating back 2,000–7,000 years. Alta rock carvings give a unique insight into the Stone Age way of thinking – it is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site

Sorrisniva Igloo Hotel

The Meridian Column in Hammerfest

Alta Canyon
