From Oslo you can take the Grenlandsekspressen service to Skien and Porsgrunn, with onward connections to the coastal towns. There are good scheduled services to other parts of the county, the south coast and the west of Norway. There are also other express buses between Oslo and the south coast several times a day, with onward connections to Porsgrunn/Skien and the other towns in Grenland.
There are regular departures with NSB from Oslo to Porsgrunn and Skien, with good connections to the Sørlandsbanen and Bergensbanen regional railways.
