Overnight prices for caravans, mobile homes and tents vary from campsite to campsite within each star rating. Sites rated with two to three stars cost from NOK 80 per accommodation unit per day, those with four to five stars cost from NOK 120 per accommodation unit per day.
Opening times are normally from 7 am to 11 pm. The larger campsites tend to have someone on duty 24 hours a day.
The camping card is not obligatory in Norway. However, the card is compulsory at the campsites which are members of the Norwegian Camping Guide. Camping Card Scandinavia (CCS) is the camping card that will be on sale from these companies. If you are a holder of Camping Card International (CCI), this card will be accepted as equivalent to the CCS.
