There are excellent connections by road, rail, sea and air between Bergen and the continent, as well as with the rest of Norway.
The airport is situated about 18 kilometres south of the city centre and is one of Norway's most modern and passenger-friendly. At Bergen Airport Flesland you will find most of the international car rental companies.
There are regular direct flights from major international hubs such as Copenhagen, London, Stockholm, Reykjavik, Helsinki, Amsterdam, Frankfurt and Paris.
A shuttle bus departs to and from the airport every 15 minutes from Monday to Friday and every half hour at weekends. The bus stops at the following places in the city centre: Radisson Blu Royal Hotel at Bryggen, Radisson Blu Hotel Norge and the bus station. Travelling time is approximately 40 minutes.
