These huskies are not just good sledge dogs, they also have friendly personalities and are very happy to meet new guests! Before the excursion begins, participants will be introduced to the dogs and learn to harness and drive them. Two people will ride on each sledge and will be supervised by experienced instructors for approximately two to three hours.
On return to the camp a warm drink and snack await guests in the lavvu before heading back to the Rica Hotel Alta in the afternoon.
The hotel is situated in the middle of Alta and offers a cosy atmosphere with high standards. It has 241 en-suite rooms and provides excellent access to Alta's shops, restaurants and nightlife.
