Ski activities

Alpine skiing
Five ski centres are available, and all are within easy reach of the Olympic city of Lillehammer. With some 45 lifts and over 100 pistes, the choice is excellent whether you prefer downhill skiing, snowboarding or Telemark skiing. Lillehammer and Gudbrandsdalen offer alpine activities for every taste.

Cross-country skiing
Plateaus covered in white snow – as far as you can see. Trails ranging from gentle to challenging cater for beginners as well as those who are more experienced and competitive.

Snowshoe
Guided snowshoe safaris can be arranged and are highly recommended if you want to get away from the ski slopes and into the untouched nature. There are great opportunities to discover animal tracks in the snow from elk and grouse.
