The Ålesund Region offers plenty of opportunities for exciting, inspiring incentive programmes. Here are a few examples.

Organise a wildlife sea safari

Take your team on a unique nature experience in high speed rubber boats. Rafting is a thrilling activity and a beautiful nature experience. The trip goes along the coast outside Ålesund, and includes visit at a seal colony, and to a famous bird mountain on the island of Runde. Approximate half a million birds of about 40 different species are to be found during spring and early summer.

Take your team kayaking

Ålesund is surrounded by water and boasts a picturesque canal right in the middle of the town – the perfect setting for kayaking or paddling with your group. Exploring the coast with its small islands and fishing communities, and the dramatic and cultural landscape in the fjords also makes for an exciting incentive.

Cruise the famous Norwegian fjords

If this sounds a bit too energetic, what about taking your team on a cruise and enjoy the majestic Hjørundfjord from the deck of a sightseeing boat? From Øye, the trip continues with bus through the Norangdalen Valley to Hellesylt, where the ferry will take your party through the famous Geirangerfjord – a fjord included in UNESCO’s world heritage list. After a leisurely break in Geiranger, a bus takes you back to Ålesund.

Try fjord skiing

The majestic Sunnmøre Alps are beautifully situated by the fjords. Imagine skiing from 1,200 metre high peaks all the way down to the fjord. The scenery from the slopes is just breathtaking! A perfect winter incentive activity, with a secure ski area from mid-February to the end of April.
