The Haugesund Region offers plenty of opportunities for exciting, inspiring incentive programmes. Here are a few examples.

Discover Haugesund's Viking heritage

The Haugesund region is where the Viking Harald Fairhair settled after winning the battle of Hafrsfjord and gathered Norway into one kingdom. Visit the Nordvegen History Centre, which tells the story of the kings and princes who once ruled from Avaldsnes, then take your team to the nearby island of Bukkøy and the reconstructed Viking Village, Vikinggarden, where your team can have fun dressing, eating and acting as Viking did for more than a thousand years ago.

Explore the island of Røvær

Hop on a speed boat in the harbour and take your team to the island of Røvær for the day. There are only about 100 people living on the island and there are no cars, so it is quite a unique destination. Enjoy a walk on the island and learn about its history.

Go hiking along the Åkrafjord

Amazing scenery surrounds Haugesund. Discover the beautiful Åkrafjord and stop by Norway’s fifth largest waterfall, Langfoss. Enjoy great views, visit an old farm along the way and eat lunch in a cabin or around a campfire up in the mountains.
