Island safari by RIB boat outside Haugesund

Experience a lot of nature and wildlife in a short period of time – take your team on an exciting RIB boat tour in the archipelago outside Haugesund.

Norway’s birthplace Haugesund has always lived off the ocean, from the Viking age up to today’s oil age. A RIB boat tour from the Inner Quay of Haugesund is an opportunity to experience a lot of local nature and wildlife in a short period of time.

One hour RIB boat getaway

Treat your team to a refreshing, motivating hour at sea. The RIB boat makes its way in between islands and through the strait of Karmsundet, also known as Nordvegen – the strait that gave Norway its name (lit. “the way North”). A guide from the event organiser Ravnafloke will tell you many exciting stories about the rich Viking heritage, the history of Haugesund and the surroundings.

Half day excursion with lunch at Røvær Island

If you have more time, invite your team on this extended RIB tour to the islands and through the canals outside Haugesund. Enjoy a guided tour of the exotic Røvær Island, with 110 inhabitants and only one car. Røvær Kulturhotell serves fish soup made with the catch of the day. If you are looking for a different meeting venue, the hotel has meeting facilities for up to 30 guests.

All RIB boats are sturdy and safe, and the speed is determined by the weather and the participants. For a more economical option, go to the island by RIB boat and return later by ferry.
