The Stavanger Region offers plenty of opportunities for exciting, inspiring incentive programmes. Here are a few examples.

Pulpit Rock

Cruise on the beautiful Lysefjord, 42 kilometres long, to the Pulpit Rock, or Preikestolen, one of Norway's most spectacular wonders. The rock formation towers 600 metres above sea level and you will cruise directly under it. For even more breathtaking views, hike to the top. The glaciers formed the fjord landscape during a series of ice ages and mountains soar up to 1,000 metres on both sides of the Lysefjord.

The Norwegian Petroleum Museum

Stavanger is the oil capital of Norway, and there is no better place to learn about the industry than at the Norwegian Petroleum Museum. Learn what oil and gas are used for, what technology is used to extract these resources and what it is like living and working on an oil rig out at sea. The museum, one of the best in Norway, organises private viewings and other events for groups throughout the year.

Flor & Fjære

Enjoy the scenic boat trip to the lush island of Sør-Hidle and the restaurant Flor & Fjære, a short distance from Stavanger. Here you will find palms trees and tropical flowers surrounded by magnificent fjords and mountains. Upon arrival participants will be taken on a guided tour around the beautiful garden, the ideal place in which to seek inspiration and a few green-fingered tips, before enjoying lunch or dinner in the panoramic restaurant, which serves home-made food prepared with local ingredients.
